My name is Abdirizak Diini, I was born and raised in Somalia, a country that was once vibrant with culture and life. However, it became a battleground torn apart by civil war. Growing up, my family and I experienced unimaginable suffering as the situation worsened. 

 

We witnessed the devastation of our home, lost loved ones, and struggled to find necessities like food and shelter amidst the chaos. Life seemed like an uphill battle, and my dreams felt unattainable, But amidst the darkness, there was a glimmer of hope. I had the opportunity to come to  the US. where opportunities I had only dreamed of back home became within reach. 

This chance at a better life ignited a fire within me to make a difference and give back to the community that welcomed me. 

 

My journey has molded me into a community activist and small business owner, and I believe that I possess the qualities necessary to effectively represent Ohio House District 3. I have witnessed the struggles faced by our diverse community, and I am committed to addressing them. 

 

That's why I am reaching out to you today. I am running for Ohio House District 3, because I believe that together we can make a positive impact on the lives of those who need it most. I understand firsthand the struggles faced by marginalized communities and will fight tirelessly for their rights and well-being. 

 

With your support, we can bring about meaningful change. Together, let's create a future where everyone has equal opportunities, where no one is left behind, and where the voices of those who have persevered against all odds are heard. 

 

By electing me, we are not only choosing diversity and representation but also ensuring that voices from different backgrounds are heard at the decision-making table. 

I aim to amplify the concerns of both minorities and small business owners, two groups often underrepresented in politics.
